Topshop has thrown us some surprises recently, with their current leap to selling  bridal attire in collaboration with Richard Nicoll, and now they have united with budget travel chain Travelodge!

Yes you read that right! The two powerful chains have collaborated in creating the ultimate shopping facility to date! The store/hotel will combine to make one building and will take up residence in Edinburgh’s retail center, Princess Street.

This hilariously brilliant idea has us a little giddy. when visiting the wonderful city of Edinburgh, you can not deny that the first thing you do is scope out the shopping, (and of course restaurants) now when you visit you can check-in to your hotel room, ditch your bags, reload with some new garb. And when you have empties your purse/credit card you can crash, without a mooch back to your hotel – its the perfect shopping/holiday experience!

A spokes person for Travelodge spoke about the controversial plan saying they were “delighted” she went on to say;

“Shopaholics can now shop and snooze under one roof and with rooms from £19 (£19 bladdy ell) there is plenty of change left to treat yourself to a new outfit.”

This is taking ‘Shopping trips’ to a new level!

So next time you take a trip to this wonderful, cultural, architectural and busy city, you wont have to leave Topshop…Unless you really want to!

Warning: Do not book into this hotel if you have no money, you will slip slowly into madness or get arrested for shop lifting!
