The queen of Grunge Courtney Love has revealed her debut collection via her twitter page posting images of stunning images from her fashion line named Never The Bride.
The collection is inspired by her own personal fashion taste she told the Huffington Post;
“This is the stuff I would wear if I was young enough to not look like Bette Davis in What Ever Happened To Baby Jane” she went on to tell them “In The Hem of all the dresses, there is a ruby and it says C***.” – That’s the Courtney we know and love!!
The decadent-grunge collection has been developed using recycled vintage clothing, Courtney expressed her interest in creating her own fashion line almost four years ago and after her licencing agreement came through in 2011 it appears it’s all systems go!
The collection was showcased behind-the-scenes on a shoot for contributor magazine by model Chloe Norgaard, and by looking at this little beauty we can see who Courtney chose her to model!
The collection is made up of style from 1800’s to the 1920s with a grunge twist. Classic lace, sheer, gorgeous embellishments, fishnet white socks, quirky 1920’s style head pieces, burlesque style backless gowns all styled with Doc Martens. Chloe’s main of multi-coloured hair compliments the chaotic decadence perfectly.
Rumour has it Love’s collection will be supplied on Net-A-Porter, We are eagerly awaiting Never Mind The Bride, nothing beats a bit of grungy glamour!!
