Having just returned from a whirlwind of fashion events across Europe looking for key trends that we can feature on SecretSales.com,  it seems that no matter where in the world you go there are ever prevailing trends that persevere.

I’ve been very fortunate to attend some of the great fashion events the world has had to offer and usually after attending these shows I walk away inspired with at least some understanding of future trends, designs and aspiring colour palettes. In recent times however I have been left feeling somewhat bewildered, with a lack of emotion or belief in what’s on offer. As a result many of the main events in the fashion calendar have felt slightly lost and misdirected, soulless if you will. Bizarre when you think it was these shows that once drove the focus and strategies for many fashion companies across the world.

Despite my loathing of a downward trending market, there are some signs of progression. To my delight, the formal look is back and it is now transcending across all major retailers and brands. In Florence, short trim double breasted blazers with extravagantly wide lapels and short tie pin collars stole the show, offering an impressively sharp and debonair look. In Berlin however, a simpler take on the look made the event all the more exciting, with the star of the show being a single buttoned blazer accessorised with a bright pocket scarf and slim coloured cords.

Whilst the formal look may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it is surprisingly flexible and should remain a staple in every gentleman’s wardrobe. suit blazers can be accompanied with woven ties and matched with dark jeans to offer an easy solution to any evening soiree. And for those of you who are looking to impress a certain person on Valentine’s day, wearing a fitted blazer over a contrasting shirt with a subtle tie and jeans can go a long way (trust me!).

You must however think about your colour schemes and applying small details to your outfit can make all the difference. If you are looking for designer clothes at a fraction of the price visit SecretSales.com where you can find to men’s formal fashion for up to 70% off. A must for all fashionista girls and guys alike.
