Fergie‘s collaboration with Wet ‘n Wild is “truly nostalgic”.
The Black Eyed Peas singer teamed up with the beauty brand to launch a range of cosmetics, including nail polish, eyeshadows and lipsticks.
Fergie is thrilled to be working with the company on the collection of 21 products.
This is a brand that is truly nostalgic for me. For me and my Latinas in my area growing up, Wet ‘n Wild was the brand.
The 37-year-old was made Wet ‘n Wild’s first global brand ambassador back in March. The star wants her debut colour range – called Fergie by Wet ‘n Wild – to appeal to a wide audience.
It was important to me that my line is affordable to my fans but I wanted to give it a luxury spin.
It’s that extra little limited-edition feel of fashion.
Fergie also said that the offer of creating her own line for the brand “blew her away.”
Because of that, we’re taking it a step further. All of the products are going to be very chic. There’s no more all-over-the-place craziness; we’re taking it up a notch. I feel very lucky. I know that this is a very special thing, and I don’t take it lightly.
Fergie has fun coming up with names for her products and even asking her mother and friends for suggestions. She says the naming of the cosmetics gave her the opportunity to “shout out” to the various nationalities of her fans.
